Delicate, floral, fruity.
I'm always pleased to taste this charming and delicate bubbly and inhale its fragrant nose of apricots in honey, white raisins, kumquats, lemon meringue and rose pastilles. It has a lively, palate-cleansing spritz and is simply put, a creamy elixir flavoured with exotic fruit and citrus, honey and anise. It is (as expected) sweet but is balanced with bright acidity and has a wonderful persistence.
Consistent.
Pair: Fruit or apricot pastries, ginger spiked biscotti or a dried fruit, nut and cheese plate.
